How to Calculate UNILAG Aggregate Score

First, you should note that aggregate score is always out of 100%. Calculating your aggregate score is quite simple. UNILAG uses a 30-20-50 scoring system, i.e, Post UTME score takes up 30%, O’level score takes up to 20%, Post UTME score takes up 30% which makes a total of 100%.

UNILAG including O’level score in their calculation system is just to show the prestigious nature of the institution. Now let us calculate the aggregate score:

First, O’level has the following points:

A1 = 4.0
B2 = 3.6
B3 = 3.2
C4 = 2.8
C5 = 2.4
C6 = 2.0

In your O’level, you have to consider your 5 main subjects including English and mathematics. Let’s say you score A in all the five compulsory subjects. That means you have 20 points in your O’level.

In your post UTME, let’s say it is over 30 and you score 15. That means you got 15/30.

You JAMB score is divided by 8. That means if you scored 296 in JAMB, it will be 296 divided by 8 = 37.
